STONEAGE PRESENTS THE LAUNCH OF “MY PUNJABI LOVE FOR YOU”

The STONEAGE presents the launch of ADNAN MALIK PRODUCTION (AMP) boutique media production house with the premiere of “MY PUNJABI LOVE FOR YOU” on 17^th April 2013.

A bold and courageous theme adopted by inventive director ADNAN MALIK whose crazy mind has conceived the whole idea. It is an evocative and propulsive experimental music video/experimental film hybrid, which tells a story of a young rural wife who attempts to overcome the challenges faced by independent women in a male dominated society.

“MY PUNJABI LOVE FOR YOU” video features.

a)      AAMINA SHEIKH: played as PARVEEN BANO to play the role AAMINA trained in MUAY Thai Kickboxing, Mixed Martial arts, Wirework and MOTORCYCLE STUNTS. Her gritty and flawless acting carries the story of the video forward into a seamless sequence of events that alternate between real world events and her charters innermost desires and hopes.

b)      ADNAN JAFFAR: played as the evil Landlord.

c)       RIZWAN ALI JAFFRI: played as the hopeless Husband

d)      HOST OF MARTIAL ARTIST: played as admixed bag of villains that stand in the AAMINA SHEIKH way.

e)      BAMBU SAUCE: sound track music inspired by the raw and grungy sound. BUMBU SAUCE, are the winners of LUX STYLE AWARD’S .The Best Emerging Artist 2012, the sound track of video propels you into the world of its female protagonist and her troubled relationship with men society.

f)       ZAIN HALEEM: The ace DOP was in charge of Gorgeous Cinematography.

g)      ADNAN MALIK: DIRECTOR made the video piece which draws inspiration from classic Pakistani cinema and cult martial arts films, and hopes to contribute to the ongoing dialogue about gender equality in Pakistan Society.
