The highly anticipated film "Babylicious," directed by Umer Essa Khan and produced by Coconut Productions, had its star-studded premiere at Nueplex Cinemas in DHA, Karachi. The red-carpet event witnessed the presence of renowned celebrities and esteemed actors from the Pakistani entertainment and media industry.
Babylicious, at its heart, is a
love story. Partially inspired by the director’s life, the movie revolves
around Umer and Sabiha, brilliantly portrayed by Syra Yousuf and Shahroz
Sabzwari, who fall head over heels in love with each other, but destiny has
other plans for the two. The movie packs in a complete package of romance,
humor, drama, emotions, and laughter. All of that is embellished with an
incredible soundtrack, that features love ballads, a lament, and foot-tapping
dance numbers, sung by leading and upcoming singers of the country. Mann
Ranjhan and Ghazab Kuriye stand out from the album.
Umer Essa Khan, proves himself to
be a promising director with his debut venture. He has masterfully brought
Babylicious to life on the silver screen with his distinctive style of
storytelling. His ability to capture the essence of human relationships and

Popular director Nadeem Baig

engaging. The story is gripping and I’m curious to see what happens next,”
Industry stalwart Rubina Ashraf said during the interval of the movie.
Leading actress Sanam Saeed had
all good things to say about the movie. "Congratulations to the entire

The premiere was held at Nueplex
