2012 has seen an eclectic mix of films being offered to its audiences. Bollywood has presented some very novel concepts, comebacks, sequels, and some most-awaited flicks this year to its audiences. Let us browse through the films that should have a place at the top 10 films of this year.

Two parallel tracks merge in Reema Kagti’s supernatural thriller ‘Talaash’. Aamir Khan and Rani Mukherji play parents grieving the tragic and untimely death of their young son.

One of the highly awaited movie of 2012, Reema Kagti ’s ‘ Talaash ’ releases today. Directed by Reema Kagti and is written by Zoya Akhtar & Reema Kagti, this is a suspense thriller which stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and  Rani Mukherjee  in the pivotal role and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Raj Kumar Yadav & Shernaz Patel in supporting roles. ‘Talaash’ is a highly anticipated film as this is the only film of Aamir Khan releasing this year.

Actor  Ram Kapoor  has decided to quit the famous serial on Sony Entertainment channel ‘ Bade Achhe Lagte Hain ’ due to his overloaded film offers. Ram who is working 16 to 18 hours for the TV show finds it hard to accommodate time for films and hence he has decided to quit the show. Ram Kapoor has informed Balaji Telefilms about the decisions and finding no other alternative they agreed.

Dharma Productions has set a record of making the highest box office collection in the last decade, by starring newcomers in Student Of The Year. Directed by Karan Johar, the film has struck the right chord with the audience’s in spite of starring three debutants.

The reality show “Bigg Boss” has its sixth season on air. Every season has grabbed attention from the viewers for the antics of each contestant and the fights that have happened in the house.

Actress Bipasha Basu is over the moon after crossing one million followers on microblogging site Twitter.  

Czech-born model Yana, best remembered for her Bollywood item song 'Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo', may be entering the Bigg Boss house soon. "Paperwork is on and if all goes well, Yana should be on the show," says a source.

The movie is expected to be released towards the end of August however the trailer is expected to be premiered on 31st June. Interesting fact about the movie is that it has been written by Sai Paranjape, the writer who wrote the original movie back then.
