ISHTIAQ AFZAL KHAN'S COLLECTION AT FASHION PAKISTAN WEEK 4



Ishtiaq Afzal Khan presents his new signature collection inspired by the vast imposing desert. This is reflected in his colour palette - ranging from browns to forest greens, with just a pinch of pink. His collection titled "Desert Rose" endeavours to portray the richness of the soil, with unusual shades. The collection includes beautifully executed silhouettes, with an ethnic touch. This new collection stands out from his previous designs, different but sensual, an amalgamation of the modern with the classic...allowing movement and agility in a beautiful, classy way.

MAHEEN KARIM'S COLLECTION AT FASHION PAKISTAN WEEK 4



Maheen Karim’s ‘Luxe’ fuses military chic together with luxury oriental accents in the form of exquisite hand embroideries and ritzy silks. Plush velvets appliquéd on to glossy georgettes and shaded chiffons make for an extremely stylish winter wardrobe. Clean-cut tailored suits, form-fitting chic cropped trousers, as well as silk-draped harem pants, paired with military jackets and lace-draped boleros. The colour palette brings together wintery plums, gilded black, bronze, gold, deep maroons, vibrant olives, mustard and magenta.

MISHA LAKHANI'S COLLECTION AT FASHION PAKISTAN WEEK 4



Misha Lakhani’s namesake young fashion label is the go-to for impeccably crafted clothing that mixes a timeless aesthetic with a modern perspective. She debuted her couture collection at Bridal  Week in early October 2012, playing with the theme of Colonial Transgression. The idea behind the collection was refining the extravagance of old India, by fusing it with an international chic. Film, art deco and vintage craftsmanship have been lifelong inspirationsfor Misha, who has studied at Central Saint Martins and interned with Bunto Kazmi.

PONDS RED CARPET AT FASHION PAKISTAN WEEK 4


The famous photographer Tapu Javeri and member of the ponds council unveiled on the first day Fashion Pakistan Week 4 started with a surprise that the lounge was literally the biggest thing on the red carpet. There was display of beautiful antique stage with mannequins. As the red curtains went up, the stage were displaying pieces from the creations of the designer who were set to show their waiting collection at Fashion Pakistan Week on coming 2 days of the show.
