MAIN HOON SHAHID AFRIDI PAKISTANI CRICKET DRAMA MOVIE

Main Hoon Shahid Afridi - Pakistan's first sports drama movie stars an ensemble cast of the leading stars today Such as Humayun Saeed and Mahnoor Baloch along with Javed Sheikh, Shafqat Cheema, Ismail Tara, Ainy Jaffri, Shehzad Sheikh and Noman Habib, the antagonist of the movie. MHSA is produced by Humayun Saeed and Shehzad Nasib and the movie is directed by Syed Ali Raza aka Usama. MHSA is written by Vasay Chaudary.

The movie was released on 23rd august 2013 with its premier being held 2 days earlier on the 21st of august.

I regret to write that the Red carpet was a total disappointment. However, MHSA a successful movie covered up for the disappointments by PR Company. M H S A is a story of a young lad who wishes to play cricket for the national side and has made Shahid Afridi, his Inspiration. The movie throughout revolves around this young lad's journey and it's hardships with a mist of lies, betrayal, mistrust, power and eventually success. It is important to be brought to notice that songs of the movie has become hit numbers, also it will not out of place to mention that the film story has been written and directed beautifully.

MHSA is A beautiful movie and it should be watched again and again in the cinemas, specially the youngsters will find their own inspiration in this movie. If movies are made on the hot topics, I am confident that Pakistani film industry will regain its popularity.

Although the movie is highly successful and viewers are rushing into the cinemas, but the premier event of the movie had turned out to be an utter disaster and it gave a bitter taste.The guests hardly felt that the event was handled by a professional company !

The event was held on the ground floor of the atrium mall in Karachi and was attended by top celebrities from the film and fashion industry such as Mahira Khan, Samina Pirzada, Aamina Sheikh, Aly Khan, Anoushey Ashraf, Ayesha Omer, Arjumand Rahim, Bushra Ansari , Shehroz and Syra Sabzwari, Mani and Hira, Mehwish Hayat, Azfar Rehman, Saba Hameed , Mona Lisa and many more along  with the cast of MHSA. Also in attendance were the big names from fashion industry Deepak Perwani, Mona J., Warda Saleem and Tapu Javeri.

All the guests in the event had to go through a lot of hassles because of the inconvenience caused to them due to the mismanagement of the organizers of the event. At first the stars had to wait to enter the red carpet as the area set was not suitable and on top the people in attendance that were neither part of the media teams nor they were celebrities. The organizer entire team had failed to keep a track on the entrance and on the contrary favourable persons were entertained on the red carpet, ultimately this made stars waiting. In Addition to that they failed to manage the media. They Couldn't keep the stars at a safe distance from the media which resulted in the stars being crowded and repeatedly nudged for interviews or pictures.The celebrities were not provided deserved protocol

But that was not the end of the mismanagement. the PR company had terribly failed in making an appropriate arrangements for the exit of stars from the red carpet. Yes there was an entrance but there was no exit. The entrance was heavily crowded and thus the guests had to undauntedly find ways to exit such as crossing the light setup or the space through the sound setup crossing electrical connections.

The Marketing team was reportedly seen moving around the red carpet without doing anything to help the guests in attendance but were rather seen chatting around with each other or the invited non celebrity guests.
