SHORT FILM COMPETITION “HEROES OF PAKISTAN”

On 27^th August 2013 at MARRIOT hotel Karachi SOUNDVIEW BROADCASTING in collaboration with consulting/investment firm GREEN CARD CAPITAL announce the launch of its first annual “HEROES OF PAKISTAN” short film competition, commencing from 1^st September 2013 for two months, the deadline ends on 31^st October2013

The participants of this year short film competition should note that the documentary must focus to the theme “NO PAIN, NO GAIN.” The hero of the documentary should be a Pakistani origin irrespective of man or woman your Pakistani hero can be either from an internationally recognized personality or an average person from your own society.

The main points to be observed that the creator’s perspective on the human struggle and how perseverance shaped their hero. Your shorts are acceptable in any documentary form-interview, informational, news report, etc but it shall tell a story. The documentary should be in a high definition video format and primarily in the English/ Urdu languages.

It is the condition that you must submit an original piece of work with all content owned in its entirety by the entrant and must be suitable for a family audience. SOUNDVIEW BROADCASTING has approached major Pakistani institutions of learning with an open invitation to play an essential part in the GREEN CARD CAPITAL “HEROES OF PAKISTAN” competition. Further you are advised to submit the video via official entry form on the GREEN CARD CAPITAL website.

After the submission of documentary by aspiring filmmakers a panel of judges will select contest finalists, and will be placed on the GREEN CARD CAPITAL website from 1^st December 2013 the general public will be invited to vote for the GRAND PRIZE winners. Winners will be announced on or around 14^th December 2013.

The finalists of the contest can win the prizes as under:-

1. FIRST PRIZE          $1000/

2. SECOND PRIZE     $500/

3. THIRD PRIZE         $250/

The above noted prizes are in addition to television airings on Sound View Broadcasting’s Pakistani channels in the USA and possibly around the world as well as production and internship opportunities with SOUNDVIEW.
